Our Team
Farai possesses more than fifteen (15) years working experience and is the Managing Director of Rollwell Business Consultancy. His experience with Rollwell Business Consultancy includes being the Fractional Chief Finance Officer for a number of private companies
providing accounting services to private companies, business plan development for the purpose of raising capital, buy/sell-side due diligence, private commercial investigations and many other services within the Transactional Services practice. Farai’s consulting industry experience include the mining industry, the motor industry, forestry, pharmaceutical manufacturing and distribution, detergents manufacturing and distribution, edible oils and soaps manufacturing and distribution, horticulture, real estate development, insurance, estate agency, fertilizer production and distribution and telecoms. In addition, he has extensive regional experience having worked and lived in Mozambique at Senior Finance management level.
Prior to founding Rollwell Business Consultancy, Farai served as the Finance Executive for Companhia de Vanduzi S.A.R.L (Mozambique), Group Financial Controller for Chemplex Corporation Limited (Zimbabwe), founding Finance and Administration Manager for Willowton Group (Zimbabwe) and Finance Manager for Chikweti Forests of Niassa S.A.R.L (Mozambique). He was also a university lecturer on a part-time basis at Africa University in the College of Business, Peace, Leadership and Governance for two years. He currently sits on the boards of two Non-Governmental Organisations where he is a member of the Finance, Audit and Risk Committees. He has turn around experience having developed turn around strategies for two companies where he was an executive and one company where he was a turn-around consultant.
Farai is a certified Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Sustainability Reporting specialist, having certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Zimbabwe. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and holds two honours degrees from the University of South Africa and the National University of Science and Technology. He has hands on experience with ESG Sustainability Reporting having trained the Chemplex Corporation Limited group executives and currently assisting with the implementation for the first year of adoption.
A highly motivated and focused individual with a strong background in entrepreneurial and developmental studies, specializing in Banking and Finance. With a Bachelor’s Honors degree from Women’s University in Africa, Ellen has a solid foundation in theoretical knowledge and a keen interest in practical application.
As a detail-oriented and analytical person, Ellen has honed her skills in data analysis, report writing, and financial management through various roles, including Assistant Consultant positions with UNICEF, UN Women, and UNFPA. Her experience in data editing, coding, and statistical analysis has equipped her with a unique blend of technical and soft skills.
Ellen is a creative thinker, problem-solver, and team player with excellent communication skills. Her passion for touring, photography, and handball reflects her energetic and adventurous personality.
